Job Description:
1. Greet the customers/guests as they arrive
2. Present menus to the customers and answer their questions
3. Make recommendations and try to upsell
4. Take orders
5. Serve the ordered food and ensure that customers are enjoying their meals
6. Collect payments from customers
7. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the shop (tables, chairs, counters, toilet, etc)
8. Answer the phone to take reservations and for delivery orders
9. Prepare the ingredients and materials needed in the preparation of the food
10. Punch the order to the POS machine with the correct information of the customers
11. Filling in for absent/on-leave staff
12. Coordinate with the managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure smooth operation
13. Promptly respond to the customers’ queries and additional orders/request
14. Follow whatever is needed and asked by the immediate supervisor.
